JCPS School Choice Proposal

"JCPS began working with a committee made of community representatives, parents, and staff in 2017 to reimagine the Student Assignment plan. JCPS is committed to co-creating a plan with our community that ensures that all students have equitable access to high quality school choice options within JCPS.

Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, JCPS would implement the Dual Resides portion of this proposal for incoming kindergarten, 6^th, and 9^th grade students, if this measure is approved by the Jefferson County Board of Education.
