Trees Committee – annual tree canopy support for the neighborhood.


Communications Committee

    • Post monthly meeting minutes; Quarterly newsletters

    • Update the website as needed

    • Update DPNA communication groups, committees, etc. as needed

    • Resource Guide subcommittee


Membership Committee – member recruitment and retention

  • Maintain membership database

  • Coordinate/lead membership drives/activities

  • Establish and maintain communication with members

  • Volunteer Coordinator

    • Identify/recruit volunteers for activities/events/committees

    • Maintain database to track volunteer activities – who does what for how long

    • Report volunteer activity on a regular basis for recognition

      • Milestone awards (e.g., hours, events (i.e., DPNA Grand Slam))

      • Achievement awards: Project Achievement (e.g., Tree Committee all seasons award); “Lifetime” Achievement awards

    • Make recommendations for DPNA Volunteer recognition (e.g., Volunteer of the Year) at annual event


Social Committee – neighborhood (large and small group) social activities; member focused

  • Annual DPNA events (Community Yard Sale, Neighborfest, Winterfest, and…)

  • Member recognition events

  • Business Partner/Neighborhood based events (e.g., Dreams With Wings Silent Disco)

  • Porchfest

  • Scavenger Hunt

  • Holiday Decorating Contest


Neighborhood Plan Committee – follow-up to complete Plan recommendations


Financial Audit Committee – Annual, appointed in time to complete and report at May board meeting.


Short Term Rentals – ad hoc, multi-neighborhood group/committee

AdHoc Committees – as needed for specific tasks/events; coordinated/”chaired” by the VP. Approved/appointed by the President, should be led by members outside of the regular board if possible.
